Aftershock Student Ministry

Grades 6–12

Empower. Equip. Engage.

Aftershock Youth is designed for students in grades 6–12, providing a place where young people can grow in their faith, build friendships, and discover their God-given purpose. With weekly services, small groups, and special events, Aftershock empowers the next generation to live boldly for Christ.

Students will feel right at home in our youth space—complete with couches, bean bags, a gaming system, foosball, and more. It’s a relaxed, welcoming environment where they can hang out, build friendships, and just be themselves.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Age-appropriate curriculum that’s real and relevant

  • Interactive activities that make faith come alive

  • Monthly events like our School’s Out Cookout, Mid-Summer Meetup, and Back to School Bash

  • Background-checked volunteers who are passionate about investing in the next generation

Aftershock is where fun meets purpose—and every student has a place to belong.

Blessings for Babies

A Community Baby Pantry Serving Suffolk, VA

Many families struggle to keep enough diapers at home. In fact, 1 in 3 U.S. families can't afford a sufficient supply to keep their babies clean, dry, and healthy.

In Suffolk alone, there are over 12,000 households with children—that's 33% of the population.

Why It Matters

Babies use 12–20 diapers a day.

The average monthly cost for diapers is $60–$70 per child. For many families, that's more than 14% of their monthly income.

We connect with families through outreach, referrals, and community awareness.
